Thierry Lagrange studied Architecture at the University of Gent, he receives his degree in ingeneering and architecture in 1993.
He founded Architettura bvba (1997-2007) and ALT architectenbureau bvba in 2007.
Major works include 'school Polderbos' (1999), ‘competition museum Zwijgershoek’ (2000), ‘headquarters for company Lotus Bakeries’ (2003), ‘North Sea Cycle Routh’ (2004), Hotel Ingelandgat (2012) and Warehouse Clemmen (2012)
Lagrange teaches, as an assistant professor at the University of Ghent between 2000 and 2006, and since 2006 as a lecturer and coördinator at Sint Lucas, Brussel. In 2013 he became professor at the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Leuven.
He is a founding member of Ubicumque vzw, co-editor of Images/images, Tekst/tekst, Cahier.
Thierry Lagrange works as a curator (in collaboration with Koen Broucke) and also publishes about his research in AS, Oase, Reflections
In 2007 Thierry Lagrange and his team joined BAT.architectuur.
In 2012 he finishes his PhD 'Look Here Now, Mapping Design Trajectories' at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Leuven.
Projects in his portfolio at this moment include an office building and a housing project in the environment of Gent.
